First of all, anyone who has boxes stuffed full of pokemon knows what a pain in the butt it is for all of those images to load. This is especially troublesome in two situations:
1. Trading
2. You put something in the wrong box
Some users have to wait so long to load. And on top of that, if you check the wrong number of boxes in your trade, you have to start a whole new trade, since you're not allowed to edit your current trade. This makes especially bulk trading tedious, and some people may just not want to do it because of what a task it is. Personally, I go "uuuuuugh" when I have to put up a large trade, even though it's to my benefit.
Let's fix a few of these issues! As I say, pictures are better than smattering words onto the screen, so here's a few of those:
TRADING-
First, let's fix the issue with loading each and every pokemon in the box.
Spoiler:
- Show how many of each species is available by default.
- Click on the pokemon to reveal a number field, so you can choose how many of that species you want to trade
- A small button to the top left of the pokemon which allows the user to select specific Pokemon. Alternatively, clicking the underlined number could serve that function. Perhaps it could open a small window where you select the pokemon, then you save and close the window, and your current trade is updated.

Spoiler:
- Once you hit Upload, you proceed to trade as you would normally.
EDIT: As of 1/18, the server move seems to have fixed the issue of images taking a long time to load. However, large boxes can still be daunting to sift through, and it doesn't diminish the usefulness of these changes.
BOXES-
We can condense the pokemon in our boxes as well!
Spoiler:
- Clicking the pokemon species image would bring you to a page showing all pokemon of that species in that box. Then, usual functionality occurs.
SHINIES-
Plusle is one of the hardest-to-tell shinies on site. So.. Is this shiny?

That's it for this suggestion thread. If anyone else has any ideas for QoL stuff that we could use here, feel free to post them.
And if you have any suggestions or criticisms to push this idea in a better direction, please also don't hesitate to post those as well.
Lastly, if I made any errors or left anything out, don't hesitate to let me know. I've actually been sick, and my brain isn't functioning at 100%. I did not proofread this time around.
