Have you guys tried soft resetting for a shiny?
I'm soft resetting for a shiny Mudkip in my old Ruby game as we speak. I have confidence that it will appear shiny eventually so I'm still pretty energetic about this! This is my first time soft resetting so I'm kinda scared that the shiny wild pokemon would appear first. >_> But I'm still excited for it to shine nonetheless. I really hope this won't take me forever!

I successfully soft reset a shiny Bulbasaur in Fire Red and am currently soft resetting for a shiny Rowlet in Moon.
