FINALY!

I thought I can’t finish my entry because of missing free time - and I didn’t thought this project would be so time-consuming at first…
BUT I made it in time aaaand I’m very proud ^__^

So here is my Entry for the Spring Contest 2014
Option two: Decorate your own flower pot

When I told my little Lotads about the ongoing spring contest on VA they couldn’t wait to participate!
Spoiler:
Image
(I took this picture before I glued the crochet Lotads on the pot ;) )

So I bought them a flat flower pot they could decorate even with their short legs and some seeds and flower soil to grow a little herb garden. We needed some yarn and glue to decorate the pot and later we used some paper, a small wooden staff, a pin and markers, too.
(Paper, wooden staff, pin and markers are not in the picture)
Spoiler:
Image
They begged me to crochet some colorful spring flowers so they could glue them on the Flower Pot:
Spoiler:
Image
(We needed 55 flowers to decorate the hole pot! :’D)

And together we crafted a little windmill:
Spoiler:
Image
Of course my Lotads wanted to be on the final picture so they can proudly present their work!
Spoiler:

I hope you like my entry ^__^

And here are some extra pictures:

I have decided to craft a Klefki wind chime from wood and fimo as main components. The keys serve as the chime bars that's why I haven't attached them directly to the ring so that they can swing around.
Unfortunately Klefki won't give them back to me. Seems like I have to learn how to break locks ;)

Finally.... pfew. After a lot of work - here's my entry. :D

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I chose
Option two: Decorate your own flower pot
Materials I used (you won't see everything on the pictures because I was too lazy to take a picture of all the materials.. ^^'):
Spoiler:
• a clay-pot
• acryl-colors (only the basic ones = black, white, red, yellow and blue)
• different brushes (big and smaller ones)
• some little wood-figurines (flowers, butterflies) I bought in our local art and craft shop
• some blinky-"diamond"-thingies in different colors (also bought in the shop I mentioned)
• decoration-glue
• a pencil
I guess that should be everything.
Different pictures of the process (some with, some without the name-tag):
Clay pot with some brushes (I didn't use those colors showing here, since they were water-colors lol... I bought the wrong ones. >___>)
The pot after I painted it all white and drew the Sakura-Leafeon (more details see at the end of my post) on it with a pencil.
Spoiler:
Finished back of the pot with the painted leaves, wood-flowers, wood-butterfly and painted cherry-blossom-flowers
With the plant (it's an Aloe vera, if anyone's curious ^^)
Final picture for the contest (yes the picture's a bit "sloping", sorry):
Spoiler:
Notes:
• Some pictures have the deviantart-watermark on it, I have no idea why others don't (it only showed the option on ONE picture I uploaded so yeah... :/) please tell me if that's an issue.
• I've used the artwork "Sayumi's Sakura Leafeon" that a-chan drew for me (see my signature). I asked a-chan and she gave me permission to use it. Thanks a-chan, I hope I did you somehow...proud? :D
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Thanks for that wonderful contest! I had a great time painting and decorating the pot and finally, my Aloe Vera has a beautiful place to feel comfortable in. Even my boyfriend likes it and he's not into Pokémon at all... xD

I hope you like my pot as much as I do - and good luck to everyone! :3

so finally here is my entry >///<
I chose to do a windchime ^^
everything is made with polymer clay, the pokéballs are wooden pearls, painted with acrylic colours. insinde the green/yellow thing is a bell, as well as a little deeper (a cherry blossom bell I bought in japan years ago). it was my first time working with polymer clay, so it's very far away from perfect but I had a lot of fun and now I am totally into it XD

Entry Spring Contest 2014
Option 1: Create a wind chime.

Final product:

Wind chime hanging:

Closer up on the details:
Image

Image
Materials I used:
Spoiler:
- Polymer clay for the pokeballs
- Fimo clay for the mew
- Lace
- Jewellry rope
- acryl paint
- paper
- pencils

The pokemon pictures I used are from official Pokemon itself and the art from virtuadopt.
First design:
Spoiler:
Image
Process of the making:
Spoiler:
I made the beads for the wind chime myself. You can see, shaping the pokeballs beads out of the clay. I had to wait untill it was dried up. Then painting the next day. Waiting again. xD Making the mew out of fimo.
Drawing the pokemon on paper. I cut them out of the paper and clued them on colored paper. waiting till the glued dried... again :P
After all the different things were done, tying them all togerther into a wind chime took be about one hour and a half 0.0 never going to make another wind mobile again XD
Took about over 12 hours to make this thing >.<

Some details:
The whole chime is about 70cm long.
The little pokeballs are 1 cm small each. There are 22 of them.
The big pokeball is 5 cm tall. Fits perfectly in the palm of your hand like a real pokeball =)

Image
Thank you for the contest. Had a lot of fun crafting something again. And have a lovely spring and good luck to everyone! =) - Kimelliie

Here is my entry ^_^

>> Option 2: Decorate your own flower pot

I used acrylic paint and a spoon(the backside of it) to paint the flower pot.
After that I glued the pearls and the ribbon with super glue on it.
The pokémon were drawn by me and I used a pencil, a copic multiliner, copic markers and white acrylic paint for them.

uhhh, finally done :lol: was so much work but I didn't count the hours and I'm happy with the result :D Was one of my first ideas and I'm glad its looking like desired ^^
Even that I live in Germany for me the first sign of spring are the japanese cherry trees in blossom growing at the roadside or gardens, so I decided to make something with sakura flowers. And after watching the Pokémon movie "Zoroark: master of illusion" I really loved how Celebi brought every flower growing. Thats why I chose Celebi as guard of my flower pot ;)
But just taking figures or printed pictures would have been to easy... XD

So here is my entry for category 2: "Decorate your own flower pot"

So I finally finished my pot. I probably should have drawn the pictures on cause Im better at drawing but I decided to be adventurous and paint them on instead. I used acrylic paint, a pink vase, and many different types of brushes~ I decided to paint Cherubi and Cherrim because I first got on the pokemon boat back in sinnoh and when I found out about them I /dying/ to get one of those cuties despite having Pearl.

This is the Cherrim~ It gave me quite a bit of trouble and was the first one I painted ^^"
Spoiler:

Heres the Cherubi. I personally am not the biggest fan of painting but it was so much fun to do!~
Spoiler:

And I decided to paint a cute flower on it as well just cause~

Spring Contest 2014
I choose option two. I've made a flower pot with wind chime. Actually it is just a flower pot but under the flower pot there is a Chimecho wind chime. Wind chime is just a decoration. I haven't enough colour. So I paint pictures with what i've got. That makes them unusual and cute.

pictures what i use "some of them are shining like angels"
