Btw did someone try to breed them? I don't mean for the quest, but if you have already obtained one?
I am curious to know the answer to this myself....Also, does anyone know what the ice stones are for?

I also want to know it, especially now, when Im waiting for my mega quest is finished.
And in games Ice stone helps to evolve Alolan Sandshrew and Vulpix into Alolan Sandslesh and Ninetails respectively.
So I think here they will do the same.

EDIT

AcryliCat UwU, you just a little faster than me ;)

If I have a female Alolan and breed it with a male kantonian which form will I get?
I bred a yellow female Oricorio with a red male and got 4 yellow eggs so maybe it only works with female Alolas?
Also if you have a quest for raichu/exeggutor/marowak do you just get them or how does it work? I got a grimer as an egg

Also a tip: I had a quest to hatch 4 grimer eggs and I hatched 3 and when I got the 4th the quest was completed(I didn’t need to hatch it) I don’t know if you don’t need to hatch all the eggs or just the last one but it’s nice if you have a quest and got the egg last minute

According to breeding rules you always get same species as a female adopt you breed.
So, if your alolan is female, eggs should be also alolan.

Megan’s are temporary forms(like giaratina, shaymin,Arceus, etc) alola forms permanent and you can’t change a regular form to an Alolan form(Like Vivillon,Wormadam,Basculin, etc)
So no Breeding megas will not result in a mega

Sadly Alola is far away, thus Alola Pokémon breeding in our climate will always result in native Kanto baby Pokémon forms instead.

Welp I guess we have our answer
At least this way alola forms aren’t just more “randoms” and they have more value (I’m second thinking collecting Alolan Exeggutor XD)

In the games, a held everstone is used to retain a Pokemon's form when it is bred. Maybe in the future, this would be worth implementing.

It does both at the same time. (much to the detriment of me breeding a Modest Kantonian Vulpix in Alola because the parent doesn't have Modest)

Is it just me or does it take way too long until eggs appear in the daycare? I have too breed 4 vulpix, until 8.4. i have only one egg so far. -.-

I had to give up my first breeding session after a whole week without getting anything, so you're doing better than me in that regard. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I normally get every 2 days an egg. But I think, that this also depends on your clicking activity.
If I don't click, I mostly get every 3-4 days an egg. But that's just my experience. So I can't tell, how it is for others.

Since the daycare update the daycare is way too slow. I used to get 1-2 eggs a day before the update. Now I get 1 egg in one week ._.

@Akemie: Then you were lucky. I personally get more eggs since the update. I had times, where I got 3 weeks no eggs ^^'
