Virtuadopt

At around midnight server time (8 hours from the time of this post), the site will be put in to maintenance mode and will not be accessible. This includes both the game and the forum. It is expected to take at least 4 hours, probably longer.

This maintenance is a result of updating the forum software to the latest version. The update is to a major version release. This may cause unintended issues with the site and forum, so keep an eye out once everything has been set up.

I noticed something inconvenient after the maintenance. Forum profiles don't have the links to things such as the user's Virtuadopts and the non-forum profile. They are instead found only on the user's forum posts. A user that has never posted (such as a friend I talk to, actually.) may have these impossible to find.

The update looks pretty suave! Haven't explored too much yet but a buncha lil' things like icons and whatnot are really great :3

Though, in addition to the profile troubles, I just clicked to view someone's profile and it took me to my profile instead ^^; This is the link inside of their forum profile. The 'View Profile' link in the mini-profiles on a post still work fine.

I know this feature has been removed years ago, but I miss the times when you could click at a username in the forum and they have been "quoted" automatically in your post. Sometimes I still click on a name out of habit and go 'd'oh!' when I'm suddenly on their forum profile instead. Being able to @ users would be nice.

Yeah, I miss that feature aswell, it was pretty handy.

These are now back. This is a brand new version of the theme and getting them back in wasn't as simple of an edit as everything else was.
