It was mentioned several times now that the rules may differ because there are different judges for each contest.
I understand that, but how about making some kind of "general contest rules"? Something like:
- no art stealing
- must be pokemon/virtuadopt related
- every picture has to have your name and virtuadopt on it (for photography you have to put it on a piece of paper)

and so on.
That way the "basic rules" would be the same every time and maybe there wouldn't be so many disqualifications then :O
(Of course there'd have to be some additional and more unique rules for every contest too)

Well, I was kinda hoping for a shaymin since I used over a week on it and worked very hard, but if you don't like it that's ok.
Thanks anyway :)

Totally satisfied! The Hollyday Wooper was the reason why I entered the contest and that's exactly what I won :3

MarsBar2, than it's your problem. FAQs are there to read ;) and a lot other people asked about the inside and so on. Maybe you should read through the posts. It often informs you very good.

MarsBar2, that's not the problem of the judging people. And to read through the FAQs takes just 5 minutes. So you just can blame yourselfe and no other ^^'

It stands in the rules in the very first post of the contest thread.
"The size of the card does NOT matter, and it must be a folded card, not just a card front."

I understand people who simply forgot to mention VA on their paper. But nevertheless, the judges are right. We have to stick to the rules. If they would make exceptions in every contest... this cannot go on that way forever, right? o.O what would the rules be there for then anyway?

Thanks to everyone who made this contest possible as well as for the fast judging. I am really glad that my efforts paid off this time. ;>

I must also say that I am a bit surprised at the massive amount of disqualifications, it was actually pure coincidence that I also added "Virtuadopt" to my piece of paper with the username, but sticking to the rules is an important thing for a 'fair' judging. I think no one who participated now will ever make a mistake like not adding the name of this website to a piece of paper again.

I do totally support Cyrrior's idea of the general contest rules. :>

Wow, I'm really surprised about the results... but this time positively.
I always do my own judging list and this time it nearly fits in every entry. While judging for my own I also found few users who didn't follow the rules in my opion and I'm really happy that they were disqualified, because I thought they won't be and that made me a bit frustrated while judging.
ok the thing with Virtuadopt on the name paper I didn't took for granted that it is that important, but I can understand the decision. Some diqualifications are very sad, but rule is rule. It was pure luck that I put the name on my card, I usally don't do it, but if I were disqualifed, I would be only angry at myself because I didn't read carefully enough.

So thanks for the contest and the fast and fair judging.

But one question to the Jugdes: At my own list I have written also Ginta as participant, but I couldn't find him in any category. Maybe I'm just blind, but could it be that you overlook him?
